EXO’s Kai has been busy modeling both solo and as a group for various magazines over the past few months. For the September issue of Nylon Kai can be seen in a primarily black and white pictorial with some colored pages to round out the aesthetic. An interview is also available where Kai talked casually about looking toward the future, thoughts of travel, and some of his personal preferences. You can check out the full translation courtesy of aiolosh. Also, do not forget to watch Kai’s appearance on Nylon TV if you missed it.
Among the many outfits Kai cycled through, the most brightly colored came from the Kenzo Men’s Fall/Winter 2015 Collection. This can be viewed in its entirety on their website. The style is young and boisterous, with at least part of that statement fitting what we know of Kai. His pants, jacket, and sweater all came from look #26. An orange bomber jacket consisting of a spray-colored fur collar and black paneling at the hem is paired over a chunky stitched sweater with thumbholes. Matching orange trousers finish coordinating the outfit.
Continuing with the oversized trend, Kai’s next piece comes from Acne Studios. The Jerett Numbers Multi Jacquard is a large knit sweater featuring varsity style numbers in thick wool ($1750). While the turtleneck, hem, and sleeve cuffs are navy the remainder of this piece keeps to a traditional fall color palate.
The final combination comes from 87MM; their online store can be viewed here. Black and white pants in combination with an “Any good ideas?” t-shirt ($36) are both made by this brand. However, the site may be a bit difficult to navigate as it is in Korean.
