On October 20, Korean brand Arche brought a British Invasion to Seoul Fashion Week with its Spring/Summer 2015 Collection show! The new collection features Union Jack flags done up in sparkles and pleats as well as red phone booth prints; both are iconic symbols of Great Britain. Models walked the runway to pop tracks like Taylor Swift‘s “Shake It Off” and displayed a myriad of feminine silhouettes. Dresses are a staple of any Arche collection, and this season features airy designs with tiered ruffles, soft pleats and flowing skirts. Light trench coats were seen several times as well. White and bright red are used extensively in this collection, but black and grey are also used through out. Some design elements of the collection include colorblocking and lace-up embellishments, which were seen on everything from shorts to blouses. Check out some looks from the runway!
Arche has regularly sponsored celebrities since its debut collection, especially members of Girls’ Generation. Tiffany showed support for the brand by attending the Spring/Summer 2015 show and she even wore items from the new line! Her satiny top has an elaborate Union Jack design, which was worn over a white blouse with lace-up sleeves. The look was completed with a cheery red skirt. Actress Go Jun Hee also wore one of the new looks, an off-the-shoulder dress in alternating red and white, with a full-length tiered skirt. Actress Park Soo Jin also attended the show, but her pink neoprene ensemble was from the current Fall 2014 line.
