2NE1 was featured in this month’s men’s magazine L’Officiel Hommes Korea, alongside will.i.am of The Black Eyed Peas, who is working with the quartet on their US debut album. They spoke about working with the world-famous musician and producer as well as how much work they have put into the heavily anticipated album so far, saying the following:
We didn’t make 10 songs to complete a 10 song album, but we made tons of songs. Sometime pick and choose which songs we want to include, and sometimes we put old songs into new albums if they weren’t released. We are continuing to work hard on is album because we want to make it better, even if it’s just through little changes. Nothing is set in stone yet, and the results will be out when we feel it’s right.
The interview was also accompanied by a photo shoot, which saw the members in a variety of high-end designer fashions. They mentioned in the interview the fact that they are like chameleons, always changing, and that is what makes them unique. This pictorial illustrated just that, as it showed some of the members in completely uncharacteristic looks. For example, the leader CL could be seen in a deep green corset-style dress from designer Bottega Veneta‘s 2012 Spring/Summer collection ($6,345). The feminine silhouette is something Seoul’s baddest female seems to be exploring more and more of lately, but it’s still somewhat shocking to see.
