Dress of the Year Part 2

While the previously-mentioned Eryn Brinie dress has made its mark on the Korean entertainment industry, another dress has been popping up all over recently.  While the silhouette of the white dress is what makes it stand out, this eye-catcher from Dolce & Gabbana is almost the exact opposite in that it is all in the details.  The shining pink sequins that covers the entire dress takes the simple strapless design to the next level.  Shin Se Kyung graced the red carpet of the 2011 Style Icon Awards where she showed why she was being honored as a New Icon.  The flattering fit of the dress showcases the actress’ curves while the knee-grazing hem keeps it classy.

Jea wore the same dress for the Brown Eyed Girls’ high fashion Marie Claire shoot, where it was paired with a shearling coat and Mary Jane pumps from Gucci.  The bedroom setting coupled with her tousled hair and intense over-the-shoulder gaze give the dress an entirely different, sexier feel.

A sneak peek of the 3rd annual InStyle-BH Entertainment Charity Pictorial was revealed this week, and Han Chae Young stood out among the others from her agency in this dress as it glittered in the sun.  It is hard to steal the spotlight from the likes of Lee Byung Hun, but she manages to do so in spades.

Finally, at the 27th Korea Best Dresser Swan Awards held yesterday evening in Seoul, Han Hye Jin wore the dress confidently as she was given the Best Dresser Model Division Award at this year’s event.  Even though she had on shoes that were very similar to Shin Se Kyung’s and her hair was also pulled back, the messier ‘do gave her a definite contrast in style.
